LA DOGWORKS mission is to provide an exciting, social experience for dogs and dog owners; to create a new standard for dog care, one that includes unbeatable measures to ensure the health and safety of our four legged companions. As a Pet Care Services Association (formerly known as ABKA or American Boarding Kennel Association) member, we stay committed to their standard of excellence, and go one step further in creating a dog haven that is connected to a dog's natural and instinctual environment.
We have set out to create a five star resort created specifically as a retreat for dogs; a place that exemplifies trust, love, affection and education. We hope to further the bond between humans and dogs, by providing excellent services that dogs of all breeds and sizes require. As well as providing education for humans, in the proper care and training of their dog(s).
A year and a half of intensive research on the dog care industry uncovered a need for and advancement in the design and engineering of dog care facilities as they were. The importance of building with proper materials that are strong and durable yet dog friendly was a key to the initial design and construction of LA DOGWORKS. With an awareness of the environment and a desire to be a "green" company we set out on a mission to find organic cleaning solutions with a high bacteria kill rating and were successful in our quest. We discovered new products outside of the dog care industry that could be effective in advancing dog care to a new level.
We could have built LA DOGWORKS to resemble a hotel for humans, but we knew that by doing so we would be compromising health and safety just to meet the "cuteness quotient" some people find attractive. Instead we built LA DOGWORKS for dogs, to parallel their natural instincts and provide a healthy and safe environment. The choice of K9 Grass in the indoor dog park plush and soft like a field of grass provides a safe alternative to hard concrete or slippery Epoxy floors. The K9 Grass is sanitized every night so it is fresh for the next days play. The custom design of coated hardwood bunk beds in our Dog Den or the $100.000.00 two story Mason Co. Kennel system will provide everything your dog needs for a healthy, happy and safe stay at LA DOGWORKS.

A great 'tune-up' program for your dog who needs a little 'reminder' course in obedience and manners.
Enrichment - 15 days
Our fast-trac program designed for dogs who need a full obedience program including off leash work, along with proper socialization.
Fulfillment - 30 days
The GOLD Standard in dog training. Full on & off leash obedience, manners & socialization issues are addressed. Be prepared to be amazed by your dog!

10 Pack- the basic 5, along with manners, beginning off-leash obedience & heel work.
Dayschool/Tune Ups- If you're a busy person and your dog needs some reinforcement of commands he's already learned but has become testy about, then Dayschool is for you. Whatever issue needs tuning up, we will address it for you when your dog is at LA DOGWORKS for daycare and you're at work!
Problem Solving: If your dog is overall pretty good with the exception of being stubborn about particular behaviors, then allow us to design a custom problem solving program just for you. Jumping, poor recall & leash aggression are common issues that Problem Solving can resolve. Ask for an evaluation and see
Whole Dog Training: This holistic based training program takes the WHOLE DOG into consideration when designing a training program. Your lifestyle along with your dogs temperament, training history, physiology, breed, diet & genetics are all assessed when designing your custom training program. Great not only for people interested in dealing with all the factors that can affect their dogs mind and personality but also for problemed dogs.
CLASSES:
Puppy 101: In a socialized setting owners will learn the tools they need to teach their puppies basic obedience commands including sit, stay, come, lye down and let's go.
Unleashed!: An intermediate obedience class with the goal of increasing your dogs obedience off leash in distractable circumstances.
Set Ready: An advanced training program that trains your dog to be ready for "working" as an animal actor on set. Your dog will learn to hit a mark, speak on cue, beginning retrieves, distance commands and more. Upon successful completion of this program, your dog will be added to the LA DOGWORKS database and submitted for jobs as they come in through local animal agencies.
