DEGENERATIVE DISEASE

Degenerative Disease is defined as a disease in which the function or structure of the affected tissues or organs changes for the worse over time. Currently, there is very little known about the causes of Canine Degenerative Disease. The two most prevalent Canine Degenerative Diseases are Degenerative Myelopathy and Degenerative Joint Disease. Our site features information on Degenerative Myelopathy and the four other main Canine Degenerative Diseases.

The Mufasa Foundation continually strives to support research in Canine Degenerative Disease, and to display the most current information available on the research and treatment of these diseases.
